James Weaver, M.D.
Dr. James Weaver joined Carolina Internal Medicine in February 2016. Prior to that, he maintained a successful practice in Haywood County and worked at Mission Hospital.

He served as a Clinical Assistant Professor for both Wake Forest University School of Medicine and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.
Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Weaver taught school in rural New Mexico. He lives in Haywood County with his wife, Mollie, a practicing pediatrician in Haywood County, and their three children. In his free time, he enjoys running, cycling, and swimming.
