J. David Spivey, MD

Dr. Spivey joined CIMA in May 2019, after 27 years of private practice with Internal Medicine Specialists of Atlanta. In addition to general internal medicine, he has a special interest in HIV disease.

Born in Germany, and raised in Virginia and Alabama, he and his partner moved to Asheville to enjoy it’s quality of life and great outdoors.

Dr. Spivey enjoys hiking, listening to classical music, reading history, and traveling.
